Page-to-Stage Campaign
The first leg of the development journey for a musical is forging an idea into written words and music (idea-to-page). The second leg is trasforming the page into live performances before appreciative audiences. This page-to-stage leg of the journey includes workshopping, script and song rewriting, music scoring, staged readings, production team recruiting, casting, set production, rehearsals, and finally, a staged production in a theater. Each successive step comes with increasing costs that may total more than $400,000 by the time the curtain is raised for the first showing at a small venue. This first showing is the gateway to commercial investors, larger productions, and larger venues. Until then, it is self-funding, volunteered time, favors, small grants, and donations that keep the project on track.
The Tribes USA team is dedicated to taking this unique, bold, exciting musical, and its urgent, unifying message from the page to the stage as soon as possible. Please help us meet our goal to open the first staged production at a community or college theater by May 2025, with an eye toward more and greater commercial production opportunities shortly thereafter.
Tribes USA is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Tribes USA must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” only. The value of each Tribes USA T-shirt is $25. Any contribution above that amount is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
