With the completion of Song 13 – ‘You’re Gone’, the composition, demo, and scoring for the full book of music for Tribes USA is complete!

The demo for Song 12 – Tribal Truth was completed today. It’s another stroke of genius from composer, Ethan Algazi, and orchestrator, Brian Sidders. Only two more demos to go and the Tribes USA music catalogue will be complete.

Three Tribes USA songs were selected from dozens of other submissions to be perfored at the Summer Song theater Festival in Houston TX on 24 Aug. Turn It Up, Madness, and Turn It Down were performed by an ensemble directed by Stephen Hudson of Life Studios.

Just registered Jeskin Literary LLC in NC as the business entity responsible for development and eventual commercialization of Tribes USA. Jeskin Literary LLC will partner with Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) organization, to solicit and manage donations to fund development of Tribes until it is comercialized. .

Tribes USA is one of three submission finalists for the Summer Song Theater Festival performance in Houston TX on 24 Aug. The songs ‘Turn It Up’, ‘Madness’, and ‘Turn It Down’ will be performed.

Song 1 – Turn It Up was selected as one of ten songs to be performed at the Musical Writer’s Festival in Dallas on July 12!

Completed demos for Songs 3 – Go Tribal, and 11 – Just Comply.

I’ve completed Version 11 of the tribes script and incorporated feedback from the table read. I think the new script has significantly more complexity, character development, and character interaction than before. While the characters are still political avatars and maintain their respective political orientation for every issue across six years, they are clearly more human and change in other respects. Four of the twelve now have personal stories that evolve over time.

Just completed Song 4 – Ambition in a Pantsuit! Killer arrangement by Brian Sidders.

We have seven demos now, including a totally revised Song 1- Turn it Up. We partnered with a fantastic orchestrator, Brian Sidders, for this one and it’s killer.

We had a table read on 29 May. Exciting to see 11 actors give Tribes its first breath of life! Got lots of great feedback from director and actors and I’m already making changes to the script.
